Italian cars have a reputation for brilliant design and styling. Reliability and cost efficiency is not top of mind when thinking about Italian cars. At number 7 on our list we find the first Italian Stallion ( the only real stallion is Ferrari of course).
Korean cars usually have a brilliant reputation nowadays for being cheap to maintain. SsangYong is the exception. Perhaps this is because it is less Korean than other Korean cars. SsangYong is owned by Indian car company Mahindra Mahindra. Perhaps this explains its position on the list of most expensive cars to maintain.
